Summer has arrived and boy, oh boy... we're cooking! For those of you who don't believe Canada GETS a summer, well... it's currently 94.4 degrees (I still go by Fahrenheit when the temps are above freezing!) with a humidity of 51%. I repeat and emphasize... it's HOT!
To combat the heat, while still being outside, we have been hanging out in the shade of the verandah a fair bit! Just doing whatever comes our way.

with the occasional requested treat to keep up the smiles!
We've made a good supply of frozen fruit pops, gotten out the kiddie pool, set up the fans, and the next step is to do some running/jumping through the hop scotch sprinkler.
It's tempting to wish for cooler weather...
... but with the reminder of -35 degree winters around the corner, we just put on the shorts and enjoy the occasional cool breeze!
